Microservices Success Story

We are proud to announce that Cazton is featured on Microsoft.com as a microservices success story involving one of Norway's biggest eCommerce companies, Elkjøp.

We have team members that work closely with Microsoft product teams including Azure, Cosmos DB, .NET, ASP.NET and many others. Cazton's experts have been awarded as Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals, Google Developer Experts and are Cosmos DB Insiders and Azure Advisors. We have world-class experts with years of experience working on real-world projects using various Microsoft and also non-Microsoft technologies. Cazton scalability experts have helped build microservices with max read times of 8ms and 11ms write times.

Cazton helped Elkjøp to scale up its sales and set records with a cloud-based transaction processing on Azure. The system went from monolithic to microservices based architecture in a hybrid model that functions on hybrid as well as cloud. It's a combination of cloud enabled microservices that work with the hybrid installations as well as third parties. According to Microsoft,

Upgrading the retailer's on-premises infrastructure would have been costly. And it would not address the issues inherent in the on-premises model, such as isolated and non-interoperable processes, and long lead times for equipment purchase and configuration. Elkjøp moved to the cloud to gain the agility, flexibility, and speed it needed to meet expected sales volumes, retain customer goodwill, and maximize profitability. The retailer partnered with Cazton, a global consultancy specializing in enterprise solutions and a member of the Microsoft Partner Network. Jonas Granlund - the consulting cloud architect who developed the retailer's Azure strategy - worked with Cazton to deploy Azure Cosmos DB, a globally distributed, multi-model database service that facilitates elastic scaling across geographic regions.

Giving the best service at an extremely reasonable cost has always been the motto of Cazton. Our team of highly talented software consultants and architects is adept at understanding client requirements from different business domains. Once we understand the technical and functional requirements, our goal is to come up with an architecture that is best for the client.

Since we are a technology agnostic company, we focus on providing the best value to the client and recommend the best tech stacks for you. Quite often, technology becomes a challenge and the tech stack used is usually a result of the client wanting to stay in its comfort zone. Innumerable projects continue to have legacy tech. Those kind of decisions can be fatal in the long run.

This is where Cazton's strength lies with our four-way strategy of recruiting, consulting, developing and training. First, we provide consultation to our clients after analyzing their needs from the high level as well as low level (code analysis). Then we help develop the right architecture and robust framework customized for the client. While we are doing this we also augment the team with the right talent. At the same time, we train the client teams in the newer technology stacks. After this we hand over the reigns to the client teams. Unlike, other companies that are incentivised to continue to keep growing their personnel at the client site, we believe in making the client successful and independent of us. That's the reason we help the client with recruiting and training, too.

Our experienced and certified professionals can help you design and develop robust, customizable and scalable solutions that suits your business requirements. Our clients trust us to deliver complicated projects within a short delivery time frame. We have saved our clients millions of dollars and have proven repeatedly that we can be more economical than even offshore options.

Cazton has expanded into a global company servicing client not only across the United States, but in Europe and Canada as well. In the United States, we provide our Consulting and Training services across various cities like Austin, Dallas, Houston, New York, New Jersey, Irvine, Los Angeles, Denver, Boulder, Charlotte, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, San Antonio, San Diego and others.
