Event Manager Mobile App

Developed a Mobile-First Event Management website using HTML5. Reused the existing code and a common API to deploy the app to the iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows 8 market place.

As you know that Cazton. sponsors various Technical Conferences all over the world including the world famous MVP Mix, so it was about time that we decided to create an app for that. An app that can run on all the major mobile/tablet platforms be it Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows 8 and desktop browsers.

The requirements were simple. We needed an app that could allow an attendee to sign in and create his/her own agenda. The attendees can pick and choose the sessions according to their choice. They can also scroll through all the sessions in the conference. They can drill down and look at speakers, their bio and their pictures. At the same time, they can also find out the talks they are going to deliver.

Then they needed the ability to rate the talks. The speakers on the other hand can upload their materials. The speaker needs to be approved as a user and gets a special login to upload his material. A regular user can always download the material after logging in.

Apart from that the app also shows common conference related data including maps. It also sorts the conference based on the track and the time of the session.
